I am pleased to announced that all versions of my new book, The Mighty Trent has now completely sold-out with the exception of one leather edition.
My thanks go first to the customers who made this happen. Based on feedback so far, your response has been universally favourable which is absolutely flattering.
Many will be unwrapping their copies on Christmas Day and I’m sure it will be worth the wait. Now please, don’t drop coffee, alcohol or chocolate on it, will you?
I would like to thank the team that made it all possible. Wayne Crier, Dave Leach, Alan Henshaw, Archie Braddock, Tom Watts, Cameron Hughes, Lee Swords, Martin Abonyi and Damon Roberts, but I will save a special mention for Keith Elliott who’s editing skills are second to none. Keith’s polishing made it say what I intended and slimmed the text down by about 25% whilst keeping all the content. He’s a magician.
Keith’s encouragement and suggestions kept me going during the hard times because believe me, writing a book like this can be a long, lonely slog.
Anyway, let us get Christmas out of the way. We all deserve a break. Come the new year I promise I will sit down with Wayne and consider what our options are. A second edition? Paperback?, Kindle? I just don’t know right now, depends on the demand. Let’s see. Myself, I’d actually like to go fishing again.
Once again, thank you all. Your support and positive feedback has made it all worthwhile.
Bob
