The son of a trawlerman, Bob Roberts began writing fishing articles some 4 decades ago. What began as a bit of fun and rapidly became serious. In demand as an entertaining and informative writer, he has written for most UK angling magazines published through this era, the Angling Times, Mail, newspapers both local and national plus a good few in other countries. A published author and contributor to many other book, Bob has appeared regularly on TV and Radio (National and Commercial), is a regular public speaker who is never short of a good tale to tell. Formerly a top flight match angler, a UK Masters Champion, a specialist and latterly an all-rounder fishing for whatever takes his fancy. He has fished in France, Holland, the United States, Canada, Uganda, Zambia, Egypt, India, Sri Lanka, the Indian Ocean, Caribbean, and more besides. He’s caught a few fish, too!
