Well, the wait is finally over. Thank you for your patience and enthusiasm. Both were needed during what has been a somewhat trying 6 months. I’m proud to announce that my web site was re-launched this morning, re-imagined, re-designed and hopefully at the start of a new journey. Most of the old content has been laid to rest, although some articles will return at a later date.
I’m very pleased to say the Trent Guide is finally back but the success of this is now up to you. I’m fully aware some stretches have changed hands, others a mystery, but you can change that. Just get in touch if you can share updates.
And if life couldn’t get any better my new book, THE MIGHTY TRENT can now be pre-ordered from Little Egret Press. Just follow the links on the front page. Of course I will offer no apologies for reminding you regularly over the coming 4 weeks. It is a cracker, a weighty tome.
Enough, please go and have a gander. There is much to come in the pipeline including 30 new film clips that have never been aired for free in the past.
And I would really appreciate it if you would be so kind as to share this news around.
Tight lines.

Hi everyone, update on my forthcoming website:

I’m sure you’ve heard the line about a butterfly flapping its wings on one side of the world creating a typhoon on the other side?

Well last Thursday a buyer was unable to carry out completion on a house sale for whatever reason which in turn meant the vendor was unable to move even though all his belongings were parcelled up in boxes. This meant he could no longer upload a web page he was due to publish the following day.

This in turn meant I would now be missing said critical link to the non-existent page at the beginning of this week (Monday just gone). Consequently my website launch was compromised.

The house move is now re-scheduled for tomorrow (Thursday 3rd). If that goes ahead successfully the missing page will be published over the weekend, the link established and I will finally be able to go live on Monday 7th October, a week later than planned but completely out of my control.

Let’s just hope the butterfly can keep its wings folded tomorrow.
